Today we're going to talk about someone I admire of the Architecture's world. Be honest, I don't know anything about architects, maybe I will know sometime, but is not something that I died or worried for don't know it. Anywhere, if I must choose, I choice to Oscar Niemeyer. He was a brasilian architect born in Rio de Janeiro and he died at 104 years in 2012. Niemeyer was a idealist and restless teen, who was a militant of the communist party, what marked his architecture. 

He graduated in engineer architect at the Bellas Artes school in Brazil and even he was money problem, he did not matter to work free for a architect office with Lucio Costa, a ubranist with whom he would later work on his most important project.

He worked with Le Corbusier and they had a great relationship, but Oscar felt that his architecture was different to Le Corbusier. Niemeyer independent to consider himself a modern architect, He always felt free and different, He though that his architecture don´t was about the straigh line or about the curve. He said that he was inlove to the free a sensual curve that he saw in the montains and rivers of his country, the curve that forms the universe.

So well, the biggest project of this architect don´t was a building or a park, It was the city of Brasilia in Brazil. The story said that there was a contest to design a administrative capital city of Brazil, and the winner was Lucio Costa, but the president of the moment invited to Oscar design all the buildings to the new city.

The reason for I choice him, is that He was an amaizing person, with a lot of confidence and with a interest thought about how the people relation with the project and how the project ralation with the environment. He was respect and a huge love for Brazil, and inspired his work in the natural forms of his country. He believed in the empowerment of the people over spaces, and the importance of the State powers in the life of the brazilians so he put great care in the public buildings that he designed.
